Thursday, October 10, 2019 - Consistent w prior notes. Old pruney date-like flavors. In a small southern US market virtually devoid of interesting wine I make purchases all too often on scores and descriptions from wine publications. Woefully missed mark on this one. 18 bottles - all piss poor from the outset - more of this wine has gone down the drain than the gullet - can’t hardly finish a glass much less a bottle. Dreadful stuff - dispiriting really - undercuts trust in the whole wine business model - poor product and reviews. Wine is a subjective experience for certain but I would wager a fortune this wine would be a uniform loser amongst any tempranillo based tasting even the big bulk ones.
