Nose crushed violets, dark fruited.
Palate slight stewed fruit but still a mineral core, nice depth, and especially when chilled it was very nice to drink with cassoulet.
Perhaps overripe and not one for old bones but decent with a chill now and with the right food pairing (something big boned that can stand up to this wine). 91 pts
