Friday, July 10, 2020 - Bought this bottle last year for 43€.

2,5h decant in those huge Riedel glasses, dark brown fringes.

While many tasting notes on CT claim that this is 60/40 cabernet sauvignon/merlot, the french back label states 60% cabernet sauvignon, 32% merlot, 5% cabernet franc, 3% petit verdot. However, Jeff Leve states that Petit Verdot was not ripe enough in 2006 to be added.

Mature palate with a strong tannin/acidity backbone. Earthy, savory red berries (red currant, cassis), rosemary, eucalyptus and some oak. Long finish.

Should be enjoyable at least 10+ years from now.
