Saturday, September 17, 2016 - Astonishingly good! Light gold in colour. The nose a beautiful and ever-changing mix of honey, herbs, lanolin, beeswax and much more. On the palate, rich but dry, full-bodied but graceful. Great texture, great length. I've had this vintage a couple of times before and enjoyed it, but this bottle, at this stage of maturity, was in a different league. After half a glass I realised it was probably the greatest white wine I'd ever had. An hour later I decided I should drop the word 'probably.' 15%, cork.
