Friday, February 10, 2017 - I keep finding these odd bottles deep in my "cellar". This one, described as "a monster" by mr Parker many moons ago had a super crumbly cork so had to resort to the port screen. Bits of cork everywhere by the time I had it in the decanter. Yes, blueberries, rich and deep but with a refreshing acidity saw me through the first glass. From the on the wine developed, feisty but gentle enough. Lots of flavour and some length. Glad that I bought it all those years ago. Isn't wine a wonderful thing the way that it ages along with the drinker?
