Tuesday, October 11, 2022 - Opaque Ruby with violet. Jammy blueberry and raspberry on the nose with classic notes of iron, cured meat, olive, black pepper and something floral that I can’t isolate. Very new world yet savory. Impressive. Not as rustic as I would have liked. Tannins are dense yet silky. Really well done, if not totally my style. Approachable now but we’ll definitely evolve nicely over the next 10 years. Lots of stuffing here.
