Monday, December 20, 2021 - Easily making any night of the week into a special night, this wine was absolutely fantastic. The more that I drink Silvaner, the more I am falling in love with it. This is a world class wine that could honestly walk shoulder to shoulder with just about any white wine in the world. Layered, complex, and incredibly delicious.
Lifted aromatics of orange blossoms, sweet herbs, and apple skin led the way as notes of beeswax emerged with air.
The palate was mineral with mouthwatering salinity, notes of Meyer lemon gave an inner sweetness to the fruit while layers of candied nuts added to the tapestry of palate driven beauty.
Without question, this wine (and winemaker) is one of THE standard bearers leading the #silvanerrevolution . I need more wines like this in my life.
