Friday, November 24, 2023 - Renowned stony Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay produced a concentrated and dense yet vibrant and spicy Syrah. Aged in large FR barrels for 14 months. Deep ruby colour. Intense aroma of liquorice, spiced plums, cherry jam, cassis, black pepper, smoky honts. Full body, concentrated and dense, but also energetic and fresh, rich and juicy flavours of chocolate, toast, blackcurrants, earth, fragrant violets along spicy edges, medium acidity and medium tannins.
