Friday, February 17, 2023 - Pour: dull and almost translucent dark ruby. Nose: captivating cherry and raspberries. Followed with myriads of potpourri, sandalwood, & Mediterranean spices. Palate: initial stage, supple dusty tannins with great length and persistency. Leaving it 2 hrs in the decanter, it gained lots of density and weight. Added more depth at the back palate but somehow the tannins became grippier and angular. Really enjoyed this wine but I think this may require another 5-10 years or needed some food to balance the tannins
