Monday, May 7, 2012 - Broad shouldered, powerful and tannic, the wine is packed with ripe, juicy blackberry, licorice, coffee bean, vanilla, smoke, plum and minerality. This tannic vintage requires time to soften. I’d give it until 2018 or 2020.
