Wednesday, August 13, 2014 - Requires 4-6 days to open up. After that fairly light and a bit elegant, yet with a core of very dark, slightly rough, merlot that reduces the elegance. Maybe the merlot will soften more with time? More traditional than expected, and neither big nor jammy, not even a touch of sweetness. Not what I expected from a Rolland/Parker wine.
Tastes like a pomerol.
