Saturday, May 6, 2023 - Saturday calls for a nice southern Rhone wine, Gigondas to be exact. Pop and Pour is full of game aromas with lots of red fruits like cranberry, strawberry, and cherry with hints of perfume, dried herbs, (ketchup? 😳😅), and black pepper.

With some decanting everything becomes subtle. The game aromas follow the palate along with the perfume, dried herbs, and red fruits. But No ketchup on the tongue 😜 thank God.

Mostly low tannins with low acidity. The 15% abv is really subtle until it isn't. 😅
