Saturday, April 8, 2023 - This was the real star of the tasting as it shows off deep and meditative tones of raspberries, dark red cherries, plums, crushed rocks, violets, fresh herbs, rose petals, berries, and some wild flowers. This shows off a lot of depth and polish with excellent layering already. The Medium bodied feel is plush and silky with crisp, medium+ acidity and youthful, medium+ tannins. The structure is still fairly youthful, and it is in need of at least a few years of aging. Even then, there is a lot to like right now as it shows off a lot of depth and class already with plenty more in the tank.
