  Much better than the bottle I had last year. The nose is dark red fruit. The palate is dark cherry, plums, rose petal and spices. The finish was moderate to long.

  A wonderful nose. Deeply floral with cool fruit coupled with loamy and herbal tones. Terrific perfume. On the palate, this has Grand Cru depth and breadth. Iron fist in a velvet glove. More of the same cool fruit with some umami kelp like and loamy notes that add to a greater whole with terrific textural addition from the stem inclusion. Fantastic.

  This was the real star of the tasting as it shows off deep and meditative tones of raspberries, dark red cherries, plums, crushed rocks, violets, fresh herbs, rose petals, berries, and some wild flowers. This shows off a lot of depth and polish with excellent layering already. The Medium bodied feel is plush and silky with crisp, medium+ acidity and youthful, medium+ tannins. The structure is still fairly youthful, and it is in need of at least a few years of aging. Even then, there is a lot to like right now as it shows off a lot of depth and class already with plenty more in the tank.

  Nose red cherries, with some blackberries hiding behind. Taste of tangy pomegranate, blackberries with pretty strong oak overpowering the fruit at the back.
