Friday, March 11, 2016 - Dinner on the Gran Tier at the Metropolitan Opera, hosted by Kay. Really spectacular setting, with dessert at intermission. Chilled and served with chocolate souffle.
Nose was a bit reticent, opening up over the 20 minutes or so we drank it. Nose of honey, orchard fruits, glazed pineapple, marzipan...signature must is there. Slightly less viscous than I have experienced from d'Yquem, still young, I expect it add weight with time.
Really great now, will get better over time, would revisit in about 5 years. Long term winner, 94++
