Sunday, June 23, 2019 - Dinner party of 8. All sampling. Bottles re-corked at Chateau 1997. Pristine bottles, top neck, full amber color. No decanting. Out of the gate, dark brown sugared raisins. 1/2 hour later molasses singed pineapple, citrus fruits. Medium bodied, caramel nutty finish. A very good drink. Still see good life ahead. Re-corking adds a certain longevity.
