Saturday, October 10, 2020 - This was an excellent example of a classich-ish chenin blanc. Pure fruited nose: bruised apple, persimmon, more apple. Some light residual sugar, but enough acid to taste clean. The intensity and purity of fruit here was exceptional--unsurprising given the 101 year old vines. The best CA chenin I've tried, and a delightful discovery.
