Nice old vine wine. Lemon curd, floral, with nice minerality. The wine leans a bit sweet but does have some acid to balance it out. The sweetness is from the concentration from the vines. Really nice to see something besides Chardonnay in Monterey County.

This was an excellent example of a classich-ish chenin blanc. Pure fruited nose: bruised apple, persimmon, more apple. Some light residual sugar, but enough acid to taste clean. The intensity and purity of fruit here was exceptional--unsurprising given the 101 year old vines. The best CA chenin I've tried, and a delightful discovery.
