Monday, August 23, 2021 - Giacosa tasting at Knightsbridge Wine Shoppe (Chicago, IL): This is significantly more restrained than the 2017 Dolcetto just before. The nose is far less fruit-forward (although there is still ample red fruit), but also has a dose of dustiness. The palate is quite structural and shows impressive depth for a wine at this level.
