Wednesday, March 23, 2022 - Random wines tried during service (Oinoscent): Merlot and Cabernet Franc
Ethereal in teh nose, floral, there is ripeness of fruit, black fruit, prunes, black cherry, a touch smoke.
The palate shows great smooth purity, black fruit, cherry, currant, berry again, chocolate and a bit of smoke, smooth juicy tannins, nice acidity, medium finish
Really young at this point, seductive even in such age.
With time in the glass, you also get some nice caramel notes. Gorgeous
