Wednesday, January 2, 2008 - Beautiful nose that is more suggestive of Puligny than Meursault. High-toned with apple and citric notes and a touch of nuttiness. Intense and vibrant in the mouth. Fantastic balance of rich, very ripe fruit with the bright acidity. A monstrous wine that is only beginning to reach its peak. The Meursault like qualities are complemented and even a bit overwhelmed by Puligny-ness. This will be a wine for the ages.
