Wednesday, March 9, 2022 - Ok. I know we all loved the 2016! It was sold off quite cheaply and lots of us cottoned on and bought shed loads in both halves and bottles (well I did!). With a bit of age, it became a bargain as it developed into a wine probably worth twice its fire sale price.

So when Waitrose did a 25% off promotion (uk folks) I went for it at £9.59 a bottle for the 2018.

Whooopee! Another bargain. I’m not prentending that it is as good as the exceptional 2016, but the bottle I’ve just had over two nights was right up there on a QPR basis. A solid 89 for me.
