Saturday, May 7, 2022 - Gorgeous nose of blueberry, black olive tapenade, and thyme with a hint of some sort of charcuterie. The palate is an intense succession of blueberry preserves and youthful tannins. The finish is quite long, although at this young age has prominent tannin on it. This is a classic Cornas and is excellent at this price point. It is also drinking surprisingly well for how young it is, although it will doubtless improve with age. Will wait at least 3-5 years before my next bottle.
