Sunday, January 7, 2024 - We tasted this over two days, and it was much better on the second. Day one brought lots of youthful, primary fruit. Plenty of pineapple and a little bit of diesel in the background. Day one felt playful and naive. Day two showed more intrigue and balance as well as an added obvious layer of slate. Day two gave me the impression that the wine had figured out who it was, so to speak. I'd wait a while to see this wine at its best.
