Thursday, July 27, 2023 - Dark reddish purple in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & strawberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, tobacco, herbs, spices, coffee, minerals, & a bit of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackcurrants & boysenberries with herbs, minerals, spices & a hint of vanilla/oak. Lingering finish. Drink well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+).
