Saturday, June 20, 2020 - Well this one was really good.
I had it in my Zalto Universal and Burgundy glass , and the burgundy glass is the clear winner here.
One thing has to be said , and it is that it should not be any cooler than 10 Celcius , otherwise it is kind of dead.
On the nose i find notes of pear - salty caramel - apple - dill
and on the palate i do find the same things , at the same time its really fresh , think of an apple thats not super citrus but just fresh , and then come the salty notes and caramel...it has maybe also some black pepper notes .
Another thing to think of is that it gained a lot during the 3hours i had it , and i also decanted the wine......so lessons learned for me and this wine is that no cooler than 10 Celcius , and decanted it for like 1-2 hours and then go ahead and enjoy.....a light wine that still has substance to it.
