Friday, December 26, 2014 - Gave this an hour decant and found a very savory nose - dark chocolate, roasted game, and violets. Palate is savory as well, smoked meats, pepper, and garrigue, some plum sneaking in on the very tannic finish. Enjoyable with food, actually that helps keeping the tannin from building. Big wine, and could use more time.
