Saturday, May 13, 2023 - Pours with so much depth of purple that it's almost black. On the palate: a rich blackberry liquer with resiny plum, and smoky chocolate, with a tinge of chili pepper. This has powdery/chalky tannins that appear late. This wine is still developing and is better on day two, but the balance overall of this wine is quite perfect.

Blend: 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 5% Petite Sirah, 3% Carignan, 2% Mourvedre

92.5 today, with room fore improvement
