Saturday, July 31, 2010 - Light straw colored. Surprised to get petrolas dominate aroma on the nose. Also had a touch of spice. On the palate apples and a touch of dried apricot for me. Bracing acidity still present, but short finish. This isn't the wine I remember which heretofore has been one of my favorite American Rieslings. Shouldn't be past it's prime, but seems to be?
