Friday, May 24, 2019 - Has not lost color and no apparent browning. Swirl away in a burgundy glass - perhaps strawberry on the nose. Spicy, complex fruit, balance by acid, polluted by bitter green stem, tannic leaf, which I dislike in many Beaux Freres pre 2007. That said, this may shed some tannin with sufficient fruit to come more appealing. I dislike stemmy leaf overtones more than most tasters.
