Sunday, October 31, 2021 - Followed this young Barolo for a few days. Tasted in a Zalto Burgundy glass. The bouquet started with forest strawberries but soon more herbal notes and other red fruits (cherries, raspberries) develop in the glass as well as crushed limestone and roses. Developing at a glacial pace, this Barolo needs at least another 5 years to start to bloom.
Not as amazing as the 2016, but still an excellent Barolo with a lot of potential for at least 2 decades.
