Saturday, January 13, 2024 - Deep Ruby in complexion, aromas of vanilla, rocks, toasted hazelnut, spices especially cardamom and cloves. Licorice and dark berry driven with a smooth palate. There is balance with a gentle structure. It’s terroir driven by the pretty Pritchard hill mountains. The tannins are well integrated, the finish is lasting. A delicious cabernet from Chappellet which is known for producing excellent wines.
