Dark red and black fruit, proper GC weight, and a long finish with just a hint of liquorice on the way out. Nicely structured too, some tannin though not obtrusive and balancing acidity. A very solid example. A good accompaniment to roast rib of veal with creamed foie gras and mushroom spinach. ****
