Saturday, November 4, 2023 - Clear deep cherry red color, aromas of blackcurrants, raspberries, peonies. On the palate it’s balanced and deliciously intense with blackcurrant, pepper, licorice, quite long. Brilliant complexity for st. joseph. Quite agree with previous observation that it has delicious similarities to a Côte-Rotie. Still in need of cellaring.
