Wednesday, April 5, 2023 - Wine gathering at RJ's; 4/4/2023-4/7/2023 (South Carolina): Exotic expressive nose displaying delicious red and black fruit, cherry compote, blackberry liqueur, mocha, tar, cannabis, light caramel, black truffle and earth. Excellent concentration, generous sweet red and black fruit, very fluid and silky, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a seamless long delicious red and black fruit driven finish with caramel and cannabis at the end. The expression of Clos Rougeard is so unique. The 15 vintage really helped the generous fruit expression. This is so complex and kinky yet so easy to enjoy and appreciate.
