This is a "tuxedo cab" IMO...it is meant to have smooth edges and the purr of a Ferrari. I am amazed by the youthfulness of this wine in both the fruit structure and lack of integration, which is why I think I just enjoyed this one a bit too early. IMO, this wine needs to be held another 3-4 years, unless you like to drink them young. The "window" for this wine is 2011-2025. For someone who likes to drink the wine at peak or slightly beyond peak, I'd say that this wine is probably more like 2017-2026.....but even in 2017 this one will probably be 1-2 years away from peak. Very enjoyable "Christmas" wine today!
