Saturday, December 12, 2009 - Deep ruby red appearance with slight paler hue at the edge. Extraordinary nose filled with deep red fruit cassis, and a hint of frsh mint and spices. Body was opulent yet completely balanced. Tastes of raspberries, black currents, and sweet tannins. The steak brought out the beautiful balance of the tannins and fruit. This was perhaps one of the top 5 wines either one of us have had the pleasure to drink.
