Thursday, January 1, 2015 - This bottle was extremely tight and closed completely. We drank a 2009 and it was spectacular and ready to go but this was completely muted. Even after a few hours of decanting didn't help much. This must need more time in the bottle or the bottle was flawed.

On the second day we still had half the bottle left. Wine was much softer. Strong fruit flavor of cherry and a little heat. Much better second day but still NOT a WOW bottle of wine.
