Thursday, April 11, 2019 - A pnp wine that intensified in the glass over a two hour period. Do not decant as you will loose the full beauty of the wine. The wine had a huge nose when the cork was pulled and you could smell its intensity across the table. Dark red ruby color with some slight bricking at the edges. The wine had a silky mouth feel. Fruit was fully integrated with a 30 second finish. There was no indication of alcohol and the tannins and fruit were balanced from beginning to end. The wine seemed to take on Pomerol characteristics as it matured in the glass. I believe this wine would have been even better after four hours in the glass, so take your time and enjoy the show.
