Friday, July 3, 2015 - Deep garnet, refusing to show its age. The bouquet reveals aromas of black currants, cherries, black raspberries, and notes of marzipan, leather, and underbrush. This is full bodied, well integrated, with a supple texture, attractive maturity, and a lovely sense of place. A warm spice component laces the dark fruit finish. Outstanding.
