Sunday, May 14, 2017 - PnP. Interesting looking bottle as the cork is really mouldy, without the wonder of Durand would have been impossible to remove the cork gracefully. Subtle on the nose, no fireworks just like previous bottles from the same case. Clean bouquet. Still some tannins yet to resolve. Acidity level has subsided, progressing well. Good balance without hint of alcohol or elevated acidity of this vintage. Now it just need to open up to deserve a better score. No hurry to consume this.
