Friday, December 8, 2023 - Needs a bit more time as of course this is a brunello. Initial taste left me underwhelmed. After 45 minutes, we see a brunello appear stage left. Tar, rose petals, cherry and cranberry. This is still tightly wound with mouth puckering acidity and grippy tannin. More fruit forward on the palate and finishes well. This will need a few more years at least.
