Does not like this wine:

79 Points

Monday, November 20, 2023 - Deep dark (too dark?) reddish ruby in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe (over ripe?) sweet fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & strawberries with dominated by overtones of oak/vanilla, some spice notes of nutmeg & clove, cherry-cola, earthy & caramelized notes. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced, smooth textured, over ripe sweet fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & strawberries with spices, cherry-cola, toffee, caramel, minerals & a healthy dose of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. A bit soft in the middle; could have used more acidity. Drinks well at present & may have some limited potential for further development with an additional year or two of aging at best but I question its age-ability given its high PH & lack of varietal focus. A hedonistic Pinot which ditches the varietal character for those who would prefer either a Cabernet or a Zinfandel instead.
