Friday, August 18, 2023 - Medium-deep garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose redolent of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & strawberries with lovely spice & floral notes, cocoa, some hints of sous-bois, earthy/dusty, minerals and a hint of oak/vanilla. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of balanced, smooth textured & elegant, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, blueberries & blackberries with spices, cocoa, minerals, herbs & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present but even at 7 years of age, it has the structure to continue development with several more years of additional aging. A wonderful Pinot with some age on it & with a very good QPR.
