Monday, January 12, 2009 - 12.5% alcohol. Such pure and delicious stuff. Just like the last bottle, although I feel like I have a much better idea of what its identity is. It is pure Riesling, but instead of that pleasing sweetness at the back of a Kabinett or Spatlese, this wine gives you a continuing acidic bite, with a finish that strongly emphasizes minerals. Beautiful stuff. A-
