Sunday, April 24, 2022 - Light gold in the glass, it benefits from a bit aeration to reveal the rather reticent nose. You get smokey struck match, white flowers, melon and fig, very ripe tropical fruits, vanilla oak, and a leesy quality, that creates a slightly medicinal aroma. On the palate , acidity is low, and the wine feels a little thin, with flavours of green apples, and nuts. The wine is rescued by a distinctive finish of a nutty salinity and a buttery texture. Perfectly drinkable , but not a wine I would choose to purchase again . Drink up this year and next.!
