Friday, March 22, 2024 - If I came to your home and you proudly poured me your favorite wine and described as a blend that is primarily Merlot and Petit Verdot, I would look for a way to avoid it. Yet this stuff is spectacular! Some Cab and Cab Franc are in this too, yet none of the 4 varietals stand out. A true red blend. Nose is a bit limited, which surprised us. Taste is smooth beyond belief. It’s like a satin robe for your tongue. Big dark fruits, tannins there, but again quite smooth and blend in. This is a delightful and tasty wine, wish we could have bought more.
