  • If I came to your home and you proudly poured me your favorite wine and described as a blend that is primarily Merlot and Petit Verdot, I would look for a way to avoid it. Yet this stuff is spectacular! Some Cab and Cab Franc are in this too, yet none of the 4 varietals stand out. A true red blend. Nose is a bit limited, which surprised us. Taste is smooth beyond belief. It’s like a satin robe for your tongue. Big dark fruits, tannins there, but again quite smooth and blend in. This is a delightful and tasty wine, wish we could have bought more.

  • Day 1: Muscular. With long finish. 15 minute decant and not sure it needed it. Did great without food - given its breadth. Merlot does not overpower or smother
Day 2: Ferrous in a good way, length remains but more savory. Solid ...but day-1 wine

  • Decanted 1 hour. This was a hit with the crew. A great Bordeaux blend from Washington. Would be even better with a longer decant or a few more years in the cellar. It was obvious this wine hadn’t revealed all its secrets to us. I have another and will try and hold a year or two more in the cellar

  • Decanted for 1h, back to bottle and followed. Consistent with my 12/2021 note. Nice structure, great balance, nice flavors. 90-91 quality easily. Drinks beautifully now with a little bit of air.

  • Decanted for 1.5h, back to bottle for a few hours.

Even better than last time. Still has significant structure and tannic backbone but the palate is much more fleshed out. Insane value.

Drink now with a decant, could go 5 years.
