Monday, November 7, 2022 - Tasted at a charity tasting event sponsored by a large NJ retailer. Dark garnet purple, a little purple in Syrah is expected. Very oaky and rich, seems pretty well balanced though. Dark fruit on the ripe side with rather tannic edge. I think this would have been a better wine with less new oak than they aged this with. But it seems like it had good material to start with.
