Wednesday, November 29, 2023 - Piemonte: Truffles instead of Turkey; 11/23/2023-12/2/2023 (Barolo, Barbaresco, Alto Piemonte and of course Alba): Always a really lovely wine and this was no different. It’s a classic Barolo, more approachable now than it probably has a right to be but with good stuffing that will last as well. This is a bit of an easier year and we picked for that reason (they had a few on the list from the last ~5 releases). One of the benchmarks of the area.
